Here are some shots of our apartment. We really lucked out on this place, it has been great so far. We actually just had our new bedroom set delivered today, which inspired me to finally post some photos.

The outside of the building. It has 4 units-we are on the top floor, and on the right unit-the one with the blinds open. They stay open all the time, Debs loves sitting in the windows watching-which is great, because we have tons of windows, as you can see. Not sure if you can see it, but there is a lot of ivy growing on the other side of the building. Very charming.

Just inside front door. This is the one room that is not done yet. Currently it is storing some random items that we still need to figure out what to do with. Hopefully the mattresses will sell on craigslist very soon. Eventually this will be our dining room. Note the floors-this photo does not do them justice. They are the original floors, and they are gorgeous. I love the dark finish.

Little nook that was advertised as dining area, but we decided to make it the office. And Debbie's restroom-there are trade offs that have to be made when living in a small apartment! I am currently researching litter box solutions for small spaces, so hopefully we will have a better place for it soon.

Nice big closet! Good thing it's big because it's the only one in the whole apartment. But hey, it forces us to keep our possessions to a minimum.

So there you have it, our humble little home. We have loved our return to apartment living. We enjoyed our house, but it was way too big for us-we had 3 rooms that we never used in our house! It's nice too be back in a space that is just enough. We plan on staying here for several years.
