puppy love

she coasts down the street and honks her horn as she turns into her driveway.
she gathers her things and climbs out of her car, keys in hand.
walks to the porch, unlocks the door, opens it, and with an uninhibited joy in her voice, she proclaims, "hi buddy!"

you can't help but smile at the excitement she has every single day to come home to her four legged friend.

she lives accross the street, and i don't even know her name, much less anything about her. but i can tell you one thing for sure - this woman loves her dog!
